Google Merchant Center · Misrepresentation
Fix misrepresentation issues before Google suspends your GMC.
GMC Guard crawls your store, reads your policies and product claims like a cautious manual reviewer, then gives you a structured misrepresentation report with trust score, evidence and ready-to-paste fixes for policies, copy and product feeds.
We crawl up to 30 key pages (home, product, policy, about/contact) and run AI checks tuned to Google's Misrepresentation / Untrustworthy Promotions policy, including identity, policies, product claims and pricing language.
Run a misrep-focused audit on your store in minutes.
Follow the roadmap and verification checklist to clean up risk.
Re-run Pro audits until your trust score is comfortably green.
Snapshot of an audit
Domain: example-store.com
Overall: Medium risk · 68/100 trust
Refund policy is vague and does not match product page promises (products mention "30 days" but policy says "14 days").
Hero banner uses "100% guaranteed results" style language that could be seen as exaggerated.
Clear contact page with physical address and local phone number matches footer details.
The full report includes evidence snippets, exact URLs, ready-to-paste policy text, a verification checklist (business numbers, phone, email, Merchant Center configuration) and visual findings for Pro audits.
What this snapshot tells you:
- How risky your store looks to a reviewer (trust score and risk level).
- Which pages and claims are most likely to trigger misrepresentation concerns.
- Concrete wording you can paste into your policies to reduce ambiguity.

Built to think like a Google manual reviewer
Understand your storefront
See what a reviewer really sees.
We crawl home, collection/product, policy, about/contact and FAQ pages, stripping noise and normalizing titles and body copy into a clean snapshot.
Catch misrep patterns
Identity, policies, claims, pricing.
The AI checks business identity, policy presence/consistency, claims, pricing/discounts, shipping promises and basic technical trust signals, then scores overall risk and trust.
Give reviewers less to worry about
Ready-to-paste fixes and a checklist.
For risky areas you get replacement policy text, safer product copy and a verification checklist (business IDs, phone, email, GMC/GBP match) so you know what to change and confirm.
How GMC Guard works under the hood
1 · Crawl & normalize
We fetch your key pages, strip scripts/nav noise and normalize titles, headings and body text so the AI sees the substance of your site, not just your theme.
2 · Misrep-focused audit
The audit prompt is tuned specifically to Google's Misrepresentation and Untrustworthy Promotions policies, not generic SEO or UX advice.
3 · Vision pass (Pro)
For Pro audits we run a visual check on screenshots of your homepage, policies and product pages to spot things like permanent sales, countdowns and missing policy links.
4 · Scoring & roadmap
A rule-based layer turns issues into a consistent trust score and overall risk, and generates a prioritized action plan plus a verification checklist for things the AI can't check itself.

Merchants who fixed the top 3–5 roadmap items typically saw trust scores increase by 20–30 points between audits.
Critical issues resolved
Most audits end with no remaining critical issues once refund, shipping and identity sections are updated using the suggested copy.
Time to “good enough”
Many stores go from “no idea what's wrong” to a clean, defensible misrep posture in a day or two of focused work.

Frequently asked questions
Honest answers to the things merchants usually worry about.
Can this guarantee my Google Merchant Center is reinstated?
No tool or consultant can guarantee reinstatement. GMC Guard is built to think like a cautious manual reviewer and to surface the issues that commonly lead to misrepresentation flags so you can submit a cleaner, better-supported appeal.
How is this different from hiring a consultant?
Consultants are great for complex edge cases. GMC Guard gives you a repeatable audit you can run after every change, with transparent scoring and evidence. Many agencies use it first, then reserve consulting hours only for truly hard cases.
What do I get on the Pro plan exactly?
Up to 50 audits/month, the ability to re-run after each fix, vision checks with screenshots, feed-aware audits and a cleaned XML feed, plus higher limits for chat and priority processing. Free users get 1 audit/month and 5 chat questions to understand their baseline risk.
Is my data and my clients' data safe?
We only crawl the pages you point us to and use them to generate your report and chat context. We don't sell your data, and you can delete audits from your dashboard if you no longer need them.
About our founder
Ra Srour built GMC Guard after helping suspended ecommerce stores win back trust with Google.

Ra Srour
Founder, GMC Guard
Note from Ra
GMC Guard is my way of fighting back.
For years I’ve been on the wrong side of those cold, copy-paste “Misrepresentation” emails. I run RaCommerce.com, a performance PPC agency for ecommerce brands, and I also run my own stores on Google. So I wasn’t looking at this as a theorist; I was the one waking up to suspended feeds, dead traffic, and clients asking, “What did we do wrong?” when Google wouldn’t tell us anything useful.
It was the same pattern every time: suspension → panic → rewrite policies → dig up invoices, registrations, ABNs → over-explain everything in an appeal → cross your fingers and hope some reviewer somewhere “gets it.” Sometimes we’d win. Sometimes we’d lose. But it always felt like guessing in the dark while money bled out of the account.
At some point I realised: this isn’t random; it’s just invisible. There are patterns in what gets hit, what gets reinstated, and what quietly sails through. I started keeping receipts: every suspension, every reinstatement email, every tweak that moved the needle. I turned that mess into checklists, internal tools, and eventually… into software.
That’s what GMC Guard is.
It crawls your site like a human reviewer would, and better. It normalizes and cleans up the copy that triggers red flags. It scores your trust signals across policies, contact details, transparency, and consistency. Then it hands you plain-English fixes and a manual checklist for the stuff AI can’t reliably verify but Google still cares about.
I don’t work for Google. I work for merchants who are tired of getting blindsided by a black box. GMC Guard is the product of all the late nights, lost ad spend, and trial-by-fire appeals I went through, so you don’t have to learn those lessons the hard way.
What GMC Guard is
GMC Guard is an independent helper. It is not an official Google product and cannot guarantee account approval or reinstatement— it helps you spot and fix likely misrep issues faster.
Ideal for
- • Stores repeatedly hit by misrepresentation bans
- • Agencies running GMC / Shopping at scale
- • New merchants who want to pre-check a build
