Terms of Service
Last updated: 2025-12-01
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GMC Guard ("the Service") at gmcguard.ai. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1. What GMC Guard does
GMC Guard is a SaaS tool that helps you audit your website for potential Google Merchant Center misrepresentation issues. It uses automated crawling and AI analysis to highlight risk patterns, suggest changes and provide a structured report. GMC Guard is not affiliated with Google and cannot guarantee account approval or reinstatement.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
- Attempt to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our permission.
- Try to defeat or circumvent usage limits or security controls.
4. Plans, billing and renewals
If you upgrade to a paid plan, you authorise us (and our payment processor) to charge you the recurring subscription fees and any applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
5. No guarantees of reinstatement
GMC Guard does not guarantee that Google will approve or reinstate your Merchant Center or Ads account. The Service provides suggestions and risk analysis, but final decisions remain with Google and may depend on factors outside your website content.
6. Intellectual property
We retain all rights, title and interest in and to the Service, including all software, branding and content we provide (other than your own content). You retain ownership of your own website content, audit inputs and outputs. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide and improve the Service.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non‑infringement. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any suggested changes before applying them to your website.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, GMC Guard and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months prior to the claim (or zero for Free users).
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you are violating these Terms, abusing the Service or creating risk for other users.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If you continue using the Service after changes take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
11. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at support@gmcguard.ai.
These Terms are a general framework and are not tailored to your specific jurisdiction. For detailed legal requirements (for example under consumer law or platform regulations), you should obtain independent legal advice.
